Applications are invited from the Male/Female citizens of India for 49 posts of Inspector/GD, 21 posts of Sub Inspector/GD (Male), 01 post of Head Constable (HC)/GD (Male), 214 posts of Constable/GD (Male) and 12 posts of Constable/GD (Female) in CRPF against sports quota .

Pay Scale :

  1. Inspector (GD) : Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600
  2. Sub Inspector (GD): Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200
  3. HC (GD) : Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400
  4. Constable (GD) :Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000

Qualification :

  1. Inspector & Sub Inspector (GD) : Minimum Graduation from recognized University.
  2. HC(GD)  :Minimum 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
  3. Constable (GD)  : Minimum matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age :

  1. Inspector & Sub Inspector (GD): Between 20 to 25 years as on 01.12.2009
  2. HC(GD) & Constable (GD) : Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.12.2009

Application Fee : Indian Postal Order worth Rs. 50/- only (exempted for SC/ST ) payable to “The DIG/ Central Sports Officer, Dte, Genl., CRPF” payable at New Delhi for General & OBC candidates only.

Applications are invited for filling up the following Group ‘C’ posts in ITB Police from Indian citizens :

1. Head Constable (Combatised Ministerial) : 81 posts (UR-2, SC-33, ST-14, OBC-32), Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400, Age : Between 20 to 25 years, Qualification : (i) Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) from a recognized Board or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates possessing Higher educational qualifications. (ii) Typing Speed 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Fee : Application Fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen. The candidates would attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Bank Draft drawn in the name of Inspector General, Special Frontier, ITBP, New Delhi.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their applications complete in all respects in the prescribed Proforma along with application fee, attested copies of the testimonials to the authority mentioned above on or before the prescribed last date. Two self addressed envelopes 4”X9” size with Rs.5/- postage stamps affixed thereon should also be attached with the application form. 10+2 TES 23rd Course July 2010 Entry by Indian Army<-- Click for Details

10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 23 Commencing from July 2010

Applications are invited from unmarried male who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions for the grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army.

Eligibility Conditions

1. Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.

2. Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 Jan 1991 and 01 Jan 1994 (both days inclusive).

3. Physical Standard : Min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18.

4. Type of Commission : On successful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.

5. Pay Scale : Candidates will be entitled to pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus MSP and other allowances.

Method of Selection : Only selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore.

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders

NCC Special Entry Scheme 27th Course April-2010 Short Service Commission (SSC) (Non-Technology) (OTA, Chennai) for Male & Female The Indian Army is looking for a few good Men and Women. For the best and the brightest amongst you. For men/women with intellect, idealism and courage. Applications are invited from unmarried/married male and unmarried female or widow of defence candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.

1. Vacancies : 57 posts [50 posts (10% reserved for wards of Battle Casualties of Army only) for male and 07 posts for women]

2. Age : Not below 19 years and not over 25 years (not born earlier than 02 January 1985 and not later than 01 January 1991)

3. The Criteria of NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders to appear directly for SSB for SSC (Non-Technical) at Officers Training Academy, Chennai : (i) Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all years. (ii) Service in NCC : Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division of NCC (iii) Grading : Should have minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

4. Wards of Battle Casualties : Holding of NCC ‘C’ Certificate at the time of filling of applications not required. Wards of Battle Casualties send their applications direct to Addl. Date. Gen of Recruiting, Recruiting NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066. A letter to the effect that the parent has been killed/ wounded/ reported missing in action issued by MP/Date/ Respective Regimental Records and a copy of Part II Order notifying injuries and being classified as Battle Casualties in case of Service/Medically boarded out person. Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Date 15/09/2009 for this category.

5. Pay Scale & Stipend : Stipend during the period of training is Rs.21000/-. On completion they will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay 5400 and MSP and other allowances.

6. Method of Selection : All Applications in the prescribed format will be forwarded to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC. The NCC Units/GP HQs will forward the applications to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC. On arrival at the SSB, the Short listed candidates will be administered stage-1 of the two stage testing procedure.

7. Medical Examination : Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

How to Apply : Apply on the plain paper as per the prescribed format. Applications should be posted to the Units from where the NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Applications of candidates serving in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by the commanding Officer should be sent to the OC, NCC West Block- IV, R.K. Puram, New Delhi - 110066. All NCC units will forward the application to DDG, NCC of the concerned state. DDG NCC will process all applications and forward them to Date Gen NCC.

B Last date of receipt of application at Rtg Date from Date Gen NCC - 01/10/2009
