Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications in the prescribed proforma from eligible candidates for the following Group-B non-gazetted posts for various Ministries/ Offices o the Government of India :
1. Sr. Technical Assistant (Culture) (Research Associate (C)) : 11 posts (UR-7, SC-2, OBC-2), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 30 years.
2. Sr. Technical Assistant (Physical) (Research Associate (C)) : 11 posts (UR-7, SC-1, OBC-3), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 30 years.
3. Editor : 01 post (OBC-1), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 30 years.
4. Metrological Assistant : 02 posts (SC-2), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 30 years.
5. Intelligence Officer : 50 posts (UR-27, SC-6, ST-4, OBC-13), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4200, Age : 20-28 years.
Fee Payable : Rs.50/- (No fee for Women/ SC/ST/PH and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only, available at head post office all over the country.
How to Apply : The application, complete in all respects, should reach the Regional Director concerned by 07.12.2009. In the case of candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub- Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad, their closing date for receipt of application would be 14.12.2009.
